A history of dedication
When Dr. Wilkins Harden founded our pharmacy in 1949, he had a dream of opening a true apothecary. He didn’t want to just provide medications, he wanted to educate the community about health and create lasting relationships with customers. Today, we honor that tradition through our dedication to customer service, our loyalty to our community, and our quest to meet health needs through services like compounding and medical supplies.
Our Leadership
Having grown up in Columbia as a patient at Hawthorne Pharmacy, Charlotte was excited to join the Hawthorne team in December of 2013. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and South Carolina College of Pharmacy and currently resides in the Columbia area with her husband, Thomas, and 3 young boys.
I have been an employee at Hawthorne for over 27 years. I am the Director of Medical Equipment. I have an MBA from USC and am a COF as well. I have 3 kids and we're a marching band, cross country running, girl and boy scouting, camping family.
